„BBIS is one of the world’s leading International Baccalaureate (IB) schools and proudly offers three IB programmes in the Primary, Middle and Diploma years of schooling to students from over 70 countries, as well as a huge range of extra-curricular activities. While English is our language of instruction, BBIS is a truly international school. Every year, we welcome around 780 day students and around 80 boarding students, from 3 to 19 years of age. Our overarching goal at BBIS is to help students become happy, well-rounded humans. Our classes are small – usually with fewer than 20 students – so that everyone receives individual attention and support. Beyond the classroom, collaboration and cooperation between staff, students, parents and the wider community is very important to us. BBIS is home to about 80 boarding students from across the globe, who have joined us for Grades 9 to 12 of schooling. Families send their children to BBIS Boarding School to gain an outstanding education and prepare for success – both socially and academically – in a global environment. Our boarding students focus on three main goals during their time with us: – Fostering intercultural understanding – Achieving their academic potential to the fullest – Embracing a healthy lifestyle We structure boarding life – everything from our exceptional facilities to daily routines and duties – to help students realise these goals within a nurturing and safe environment.”
